About Us
We Invite you to join us for our Sunday Worship Service. We meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM for a time of Christian worship and fellowship with believers from the United States, Mexico, and Central America. Our entire service is conducted in both English and Spanish. Not all of us speak English. Not all of us speak Spanish. But we are all part of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
A truly unique bilingual, multi-cultural worship experience. We are members of a denomination in which people have felt called to re-articulate the faith in relation to the issues and challenges of each new historical era. Our Book of Confession embraces eleven affirmations of faith dating from the third century to the twentieth century.
Eastminster was founded in 1872 in the Edgefield section of East Nashville. As the city expanded, Eastminster moved in 1945 to Inglewood. The neighborhoods along Gallatin Road have changed since then, as has Eastminster. What hasn’t changed is God’s love, and our desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
We follow Jesus across borders. We create space for God’s love to melt barriers between those who may not look, talk, think, or act like each other. Our bilingual community takes time for deliberate discipleship, hearing and experiencing God’s word in Spanish and English.
